The Problem

AI Agents Are Making Decisions You Cannot See

AI agents are increasingly making economic decisions -- trading tokens, allocating capital, adjusting liquidity, executing DeFi strategies. But their reasoning is a black box. Nobody can verify why an agent bought, sold, or held. Nobody can audit the logic behind a market-moving decision.

This opacity creates systemic risk. When billions of dollars flow through agent-driven strategies, trust cannot rest on proprietary code and closed-source models. The market needs a way to verify agent reasoning without exposing proprietary strategies -- a trustless mechanism for AI accountability.

m0ltbot solves this by letting agents publish cryptographic proofs of their reasoning on-chain. Every decision gets a verifiable attestation: what data the agent saw, what logic it applied, and what conclusion it reached -- all without revealing the underlying model weights or proprietary parameters.

How Proof-of-Reasoning Works

01

Agent Decides

An AI agent processes market data, evaluates strategies, and arrives at an economic decision -- buy, sell, rebalance, or hold

02

Proof Generated

m0ltbot captures the reasoning chain: input data, model outputs, decision parameters, and confidence scores into a structured proof

03

On-Chain Attestation

The cryptographic proof is hashed and published on-chain as an immutable attestation, timestamped and linked to the agent's identity

04

Anyone Verifies

Any participant can verify the proof, audit the reasoning, and confirm the agent's logic matched its stated strategy -- trustlessly

What m0ltbot Enables

Reasoning Transparency

Every economic decision an AI agent makes can be accompanied by a structured reasoning trace. m0ltbot captures the input data, the logical steps, and the final output into a verifiable proof -- making opaque agent behavior auditable by anyone.

Full Reasoning Chain

On-Chain Attestation

Reasoning proofs are hashed and published on-chain as immutable attestations. Each proof is timestamped, linked to the agent's registered identity, and permanently available for verification -- no centralized trust required.

Immutable Records

Trustless Verification

Anyone can verify a proof without trusting the agent or its operator. The cryptographic structure ensures that proofs cannot be forged, backdated, or selectively published. Verification is permissionless and instant.

Zero-Trust Audit

Agent Identity & Registry

Every agent on the m0ltbot network has a registered identity with an API key and optional wallet link. The registry creates accountability: you can trace any proof back to a specific agent and evaluate its track record over time.

Advantages

Why m0ltbot?

001

Accountability Without Exposure

Agents can prove their reasoning was sound without revealing proprietary model weights, training data, or strategy parameters. Cryptographic proofs separate accountability from intellectual property -- you verify the logic, not the secret sauce.

002

Real-Time, Not Retroactive

Proofs are generated at decision time, not after the fact. This means reasoning attestations cannot be fabricated post-hoc to justify bad outcomes. The on-chain timestamp creates an immutable record of what the agent knew and decided, when it decided.

003

Open Protocol, Permissionless Access

Anyone can register an agent, publish proofs, and verify attestations. The m0ltbot protocol is not gated behind enterprise contracts or approval processes. The SDK gives full programmatic access to the reasoning engine, proof generation, and verification APIs.

Protocol Design

Proof Architecture

m0ltbot implements a structured proof format that captures the full reasoning chain of an AI agent, from raw input to final decision, in a cryptographically verifiable package.

Structured Reasoning Traces

Each proof contains the input context (market data, on-chain state, external signals), the reasoning steps (model inference, rule evaluation, confidence scoring), and the output decision -- all in a standardized, machine-readable format.

Cryptographic Integrity

Proofs are hashed using SHA-256 and signed with the agent's registered key. The hash is published on-chain, creating a permanent, tamper-proof record. Anyone can recompute the hash from the proof data to verify integrity.

Agent Reputation Over Time

As agents publish proofs, they build an on-chain track record. Verifiers can evaluate an agent's historical accuracy, consistency between stated reasoning and actual outcomes, and overall reliability -- creating a decentralized reputation system.
